It’s a daily occurrence.

You log into your socials, check out the most current posts and see how many people have a different opinion on lead gen and how difficult it is going to be in 202x.

It’s the same shit every. single. time.

Lead generation is that thing that is hard enough so that not everyone can do it and simple enough so that if you invest a little energy you’ll become sufficiently good at.

The moment you scroll through your social media and get imposed by ALLLLLL of these posts, getting torn from one client acquisition channel to another just to then do nothing but feeling hopeless, you are becoming a lead for these people.

That’s literally it.

People make you their lead every single day, and you put lead generation on a pedestal because you see so many “experts” using smart language to convince you to buy their course.

Step 1 — Generating Traffic is Your Daily Job

You don’t have to acquire the 7-styles of black magic to get some traffic to your door.

  • Buy domains (once), get prospect lists and send a few hundred emails a day

  • Post on social media on a daily basis

  • Run ads

This is your daily checklist.

Step 2 — Find Your Bottleneck

The greatest equaliser is WHAT you are showing your prospects.

You, reading this right now—with 80% certainty—belong to one or more of X groups:

Group 1 — You run a service description as your offer.

Group 2 — You are reaching out to the wrong prospects

Group 3 — You are asking for the moon.

(In fact: if you are part of group 1, it is extremely likely that you are in group 2 as well. Being in group 1 and 2 makes it incredibly likely that you are also in group 3. If you are in all three, prospects will mark you as spam.)

You are telling the wrong prospects what you are doing for a living and then ask for a straight up 30 minute zoom call.

Obviously this can't work.

Step 3 is working on fixing that.

If you have absolutely zero idea on how to do that, I’d urge you to watch my latest YouTube video.

I go over how to not land in spam. And not landing in spam (group 3) usually means that you remove yourself from groups 2 and 1 as well.

Enjoy,

Can

P.S. If you don’t have a solid cold email setup that can book you 8-20 meetings per month yet (including scripts), you should get my B2B Cold Outbound Playbook right now.

In this super-long document I reveal our entire cold outbound strategy via email for you to copy and paste.
